Biography

Joey Demaio was working as a bass / pyrotechnic for Black Sabbath when he met with Manowar's original guitarist Ross the Boss who was playing for the class action known as Shakin Street, a Black Sabbath support band. It late recruited Eric Adams for vocals and drummer Donny Hamzik, to create the band by using the unique heroic healthy, heavy influenced by definitive composer Richard Wagner. Manowar recorded Battle Hymns, their debut album which featured Dark Avenger, a slow heroic track sustaining narration by Orson Welles. As punishment this, Manowar joined the fresh label, & their 2nd album Into Glory Ride was the 1st to feature Scott Columbus on drums. Their third album coroneted Hail To England was mixed and recorded around vi years.
